  2. Couldn't wait until the evening!!! There are a couple of little bits which I think are errors, but I was able to work it out and have a super cute hat! I really think you should convert this to a document and sell it, innovative hat patterns are hard to find.

The corrections I think I see are:

Row 1 states 6dc in second chain. Row 2 says sc in next 5 sc. I think row 1 should say sc not dc.

Row 2-5 states sc in same space as ch1 , sc in next 5sc. There are 6 sc, so no need to sc in ch1 space.

Row 12 gives the instructions for the first cluster then tells you to repeat. However, the following clusters should begin with (dc in next dc, .

Row 14 reads in next ch3 repeat. There is an extra character after the 3 makes it look like 31.

if you cant understand what I am on about, please feel free to message me on this email or on Ravelry.

  7. Question.....Does this automatically form the tube as you crochet? I have done 9 rows & it still seems to just be a big circle. Am I doing something wrong? Please help me out.
    Thanks

    2. By the sound of it you are not doing anything wrong. Though with out a picture or any further information I wouldn't know for certain. What it sounds like is that the tube form does not really become apparent until 12-14 rows into the pattern. If you get to this point and are still having problems, let me know. Thanks :)

    1. I am sorry for the length in time it has taken me to respond back to you. I was in the hospital Monday to have a medically necessary C-section and was just released yesterday. If you tell me what rows you are starting to have problems and all I would be glad to get back to you. Unfortunately with recovery, my dr's appointments and the babys dr's appointments (do to minor medical problems) a phone call is going to be hard to time. so if you would like to email me @ crosbycrochet@yahoo.com I would be glad to help you

  12. I am having a difficult time with the hat. could you provide some benchmarks for me? For example at the end of row 5 you should end up with X number of stitches. and then again later on. I think I am missing or adding some stitches here or there. It would help keep me straight. I just adore this pattern! I can't wait to conquer it so that I can try some of your other designs.
